Lord Tangley was Festival Treasurer from 1951 to 1972; Lady Tangley was LHMF Chairman from 1978 to 1986, St Matthew Passion rehearsal accompanist and conductor of Blackheath from 1947 to 1977. Given by Margery Cullen, Festival Secretary for 25 years, rehearsal pianist for the St Matthew Passion and conductor of Capel, Leatherhead and Mickelham; she was also deputy conductor of Ockley, Shere and Westcott.
