Brian Kay Festival Conductor - Brian Kay
Brian divides his working life between the broadcasting studio, as a familiar voice on BBC Radio, and the concert platform. He began his career as the original Bass in the King's Singers.
He was, for ten years, Chorus master of the Huddersfield Choral Society and conductor of the Cheltenham Bach Choir, The Bradford Festival Choral Society, the Cecilian Singers of Leicester, and the Kendal-based mary Wakefield Westmoreland Festival.
Brian was appointed as the fifth LHMF Festival Conductor in 1995.

John Rutter CBE President - John Rutter CBE
John Rutter studied at Clare College, Cambridge, where he wrote his first published compositions and conducted his first recording. His compositional career has embraced both large and small-scale choral works, orchestral and many other works.
From 1975 to 1979 he was Director of Music at Clare College, whose choir he directed in a number of broadcasts and recordings.
In 2006 John was awarded the CBE in recognition of his services to music.

Alan Brown Festival Accompanist - Alan Brown
Alan has appeared many times in London and other venues throughout Europe and further afield. He has a repertoire of over 30 concertos and has played with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, London Mozart Players, Virtuosi of England and other orchestras.
Alan is also in great demand as duo partner to wind and string players, performing for many recitals, concerts and competitions in this country and Germany.
Alan has been Festival Accompanist since 1988.
